Construction of this keynote project for WCU’s new Millennium Campus is on-going.  The project includes the construction of a 5-story, 160,000 sqft building consisting of structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete, and masonry elements.  Kessel Engineering Group is providing special inspections and construction testing during building construction for foundations, concrete, steel reinforcement, structural steel, fire proofing, and masonry. Grading of the 11-acre site includes the construction of 32,500 sq ft of soil nail walls, 6,000 sq ft of segmental block retaining walls, over 150,000 cubic yards of earthwork fill, and 1,600 linear feet of asphalt and 5 acres of asphaltic pavement.  Kessel Engineering Group is providing special inspections and construction testing for wall construction, earthwork, stone base, and asphalt.
