Project plans are to demolish the existing school and free-standing gymnasium at the site and to construct a new school with an approximate 80,000 square foot building pad footprint. The new school project will also include construction of an outdoor amphitheatre, outdoor classrooms, a greenhouse, athletic fields and various infrastructure components including parking lots, paved driveways and stormwater treatment features.
KEG performed 16 soil test borings and 2 hand auger borings at the site in order to evaluate the subsurface conditions at the site and provide geotechnical recommendations for foundation design and site preparation, as well as providing secondary design considerations and geotechnical related construction recommendations.
